Little Sophie the giraffe was born in 1961 in France and has been a huge success with parents as an ideal first toy for their baby. Still made in the French Alps, Sophie is "traditionally" produced to this day, made from 100% natural rubber derived from the sap of the Hevea tree and non toxic paint.
